"This is goodbye. This is always."
-- Matchbook Romance's "Goody, Like Two Shoes"
is returning never left.
Withdrawing from you worse than a come down.
And I feel it once more well in my chest,
[No], I don't feel like going out, Proper Noun.
I'll try and sleep it off, [But] Pen one more verse
Before I lie down and while I undress,
About all my best days single are worse
Than all my worst days when spent with the best.
It's been 3 26 days, and I've wrote
What? 24 poems and 6 stories
Is apparently, and women take note,
what I'll write about you, [Should you] Leave me adoring.
But maybe I've had enough… [Eh], What's one more?
Let's flood this ocean [And] Sail into the storm.
This poem is a sort of update since "Darkness Rising," which contains 12 of those poems and 3 of the stories (and is available for free here). The other 12 poems and 3 stories were included in the initial "Darkness" (and are available for free here). Thanks for reading - there's more to come.
